Undoubtedly the greatest talent in this year’s Draft, this 6-7 Fil-Am center has the makings of a great player, having a good perimeter game, impressive post-up moves and great work ethics. Welcoat was just too glad to have him in the team.
The former University of Texas El Paso standout was a one-time MVP in the amateurs, edging Talk 'N Text's Anthony Washington for that honor. The 24-year old Devance finally gives the Welcoat frontline some depth and legitimate scoring threat inside and outside, allowing Reyes to concentrate more on the defensive end.
