He was the team's starting point guard, playing in 33 games with 27 starts and posted career numbers. Lopez, a first round pick by Red Bull in the 2004 draft, averaged 9.7 points and 2.2 assists per game and it seems that he's starting to heat up and prove his why he was a Division I player in the US NCAA.
Lopez also played for San Miguel and was picked up by the Dragons in the dispersal draft. He earned the starting spot for Austria though he was not that consistent all throughout last season. But Austria knows the 27-year old can be among the elite point guards in the league someday.
